What's inside the freezer?

Freezers come with electronic or mechanical control. The former is preferred because the electronic control has greater functionality and, due to the absence of moving parts, greater durability.
The freezer may have compartments/shelves and drawers. If there are a lot of products in the freezer, it is more convenient to get those that are far away from the drawers. The boxes are completely closed and slatted: it is believed that the slatted ones have better air circulation, but small products (dumplings, berries, etc.) can fall through the holes of the grate, which does not happen with closed boxes. It is better when at least one of the drawers is high enough to fit "non-standard" high products (ice cream cake, etc.)
There are marks / calendars on the freezer compartments, by setting which, you can mark where everything is and the freezing time.
In the freezer, it is useful to have a freezer tray. It can accommodate ice trays or cold accumulators. In addition, the tray can be used to freeze berries, then pour them into a bag and store. This is much more effective than freezing the berries right in the bag.
