If the washing machine stops heating water during washing, the problem most likely lies in the breakdown of the heating element - the heating element. The cause of the breakdown is usually deposits of scale or dirt on the heating element. They impair heat transfer, as a result of which the heating element coil burns out. In this case, you will need to replace the heating element in the washing machine.
The heating element in automatic washing machines is installed at the bottom of the tank, as it must be immersed in water during operation. If it is located behind the tank, then replacing the heating element in the washing machine begins by disconnecting it from the electrical network and removing the back cover. To do this, you need to unscrew the screws. The heating element is located under the electric motor or drum pulley. For the convenience of replacing the heating element in the washing machine, remove the drive belt. Then, two supply wires and one ground wire must be removed from the terminals of the heating element, and the connector must also be removed from the temperature sensor, if it is available on the heating element.
