What are satellite dishes?

Satellite dishes come in various types, but the main and most used are antennas with a mirror in the form of a paraboloid of revolution, which in turn are divided into two main classes: direct focus and offset. All other types of satellite dishes are very exotic and are usually inferior to parabolic ones in terms of price / quality ratio.
