Moreover, the more directional the antenna, the greater the distortion.
The distance from the antenna to the object standing in the way of the signal is practically irrelevant. Only if this object is far enough away, the signal of the lower frequency channels goes around them. The decimeter range signal practically does not go around obstacles.
